Mehmet Emin Karaaslan (b. 1980) was born in Ağrı/Doğubeyazıt. He moved to İzmir with his family in 1982.
He completed his primary and high school education in Izmir / Urla.
In 2003, he earned the right to study the Department of Sculpture at Dokuz Eylul University, Buca Education Faculty, Painting Education Department.
After completing his undergraduate education between 2003-2007, he started to work as a freelance prop artist at StudioM.pro special effects studio in Istanbul between 2008 and 2013.
Between these dates, he assisted in the storyboard coloring of many commercials and movies drawn by Mehmet Lütfi Karaaslan (his brother) , who is also a storyboard artist and painter.
He focused on the field of Storyboard & Illustration since 2013 and continued his work mainly in this field .
He settled in Izmir from Istanbul in 2021 and continues his working life online in the Urla district of Izmir.
